“The Ed’s House Special Events Committee is excited to be once again planning our Signature Event, Handbags for Hospice”, said Nancy Oliver Chair of the Committee. “The April 20th evening will offer a large assortment of handbags and other auction items to bid on as well as live auction attractions which will include the All Season and the Family Fun Packages! We will be selling our popular Platinum Ticket to win a marquis prize everyone will love or the Treasure Chest filled with lots of appealing items. We hope you will join us in supporting Ed’s House!”

The community has once again been so generous with its support with sponsorships and donating items. Once again, our Signature Sponsor for the evening is Tony Pulla of Re-Max Lakeshore Realty, and our Pearl Sponsor is Jacqueline Pennington of Re/Max Hallmark. “I am proud to say that this event has become a signature event in our area. Every year we are challenged with raising more than a million dollars to support the operation of Ed’s House. As one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, much needed funds are brought forth through this event thanks to the efforts of the Special Events Committee and the tremendous support of the community. We look forward to another fun evening supporting the important work that Ed’s House does for our community,” says Trish Baird, Chief Executive Officer, Community Care Northumberland.
