Making a gift to Community Care Northumberland is easy and ensures our programs and services remain affordable and accessible for our clients throughout Northumberland County. Below is a snapshot of some of the ways you can donate:
Cash, Cheque and Pledges
Cash donations to Community Care Northumberland are acceptable and welcome as outright gifts or in the form of a pledge over time. VISA, MasterCard and monthly debits are also acceptable ways to give. Please make cheques payable to Community Care Northumberland.

Gift of Securities
Often a more tax-effective way to make a major donation without the encroachment of liquid assets is via a gift of securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds and other securities).
Often a more tax-effective way to make a major donation without the encroachment of liquid assets is via a gift of securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds and other securities). Community Care Northumberland partners with BMO Nesbitt Burns, however, this does not mean that you are limited to using only this financial groups, you are more than welcome to always work with the Financial Institution of your choice.
Did you know that we can donate securities online?
We are also able to accept online securities donations through the CanadaHelps.org portal. Canada Helps is a not-for-profit charity portal and a registered public charitable foundation that seeks to promote and facilitate philanthropy through online giving. CanadaHelps.org offers its services at no cost to the donor and now they offer the option to donate securities online using their portal.
